Background

Krista's experience in media production began in 1998, when she worked as talent on a local television show in McAllen, TX. In high school, she learned how to film and edit on the school's news team and won third place for Broadcast Journalism at the Tennessee State Finals. By age 18, she interned as a casting assistant and set production assistant on major motion films "Walk the Line" and "Black Snake Moan", soon enlisting in the U.S. Army as a Broadcast Journalist, serving in Ramadi, Iraq and Livorno, Italy.

Now, Krista is a first-generation college graduate, writer, videographer, filmmaker, entrepreneur and proud mother of two. Her work has aired internationally, including on major on-demand platforms, The Washington Post, CNN, NPR, Fox News, PBS, and AFN, among others. She has worked in front of and behind the camera for national commercials, podcasts, reality shows, corporate research, independent films, marketing campaigns, non-profit organizations, and educational programming, calling 20 cities home, including five countries and 10 states.
