About The Olive Standard
The Olive Standard is a boutique social media strategy agency helping brands build intentional, high-performance presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, and beyond. We work with brands across lifestyle, beverage, beauty, and consumer goods - developing strategies, content systems, and
creator programs that connect brands to real people in real moments. We believe the best brands don’t ask to be featured - they earn a place in people’s lives. That philosophy shapes everything we build.

About the Role
This is a hands-on, creative internship for students who are passionate about social media, brand storytelling, and lifestyle culture. As a Content & Creative Strategy Intern at The Olive Standard, you will work directly with our team on real client accounts - contributing ideas, developing visual
inspiration, and helping build the creative foundation for upcoming campaigns. This is not a coffee-and-admin internship. You will be doing real work that shows up in real campaigns.

What You’ll Be Working On

Content Inspiration & Research

• Research emerging trends, cultural moments, and creative references across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
• Identify content formats and visual styles that align with client brand identities
• Compile weekly inspiration roundups to inform content strategy and campaign direction

Moodboard Development
• Create lifestyle moodboards for upcoming campaigns and photoshoots
• Develop visual direction across a range of lifestyle categories including tennis, golf, outdoor, travel, wellness, and more
• Translate brand positioning and target audience insights into cohesive visual concepts

Content Development Support
• Assist in developing content ideas, caption concepts, and creative briefs
• Support the team in building out content calendars for client accounts
• Contribute to campaign brainstorms and creative development sessions

Client Work Exposure
• Attend agency team meetings
• Gain exposure to real client strategy, briefing processes, and creative workflows
• Learn how a boutique social media agency operates from the inside

Who We’re Looking For
You might be a great fit if you:
• Are currently enrolled in a university program in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media Studies, or a related field
• Have a strong eye for visual content and an intuitive sense of what looks and feels good on social media
• Are genuinely plugged into social media culture - you notice trends before they hit the mainstream
• Are detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently
• Are eligible to receive academic credit for an internship (required for this position)

What You’ll Gain
• Real-world experience working on live client accounts at an active social media agency
• A strong portfolio of creative work including moodboards, content research, and campaign concepts
• Mentorship from an experienced social media strategist and agency founder
• Exposure to the full lifecycle of a social media campaign — from brief to execution

• An understanding of how brands are built through content, creator partnerships, and platform
strategy
• A professional reference and network connection upon successful completion of the program
