Social Media Content Creation & Management Intern (AI-Driven Content Engine)
Role Summary
The Social Media Intern will update, build and maintain a content engine using AI to scale short-form video, storytelling and audience growth across platforms.
Key Objectives
- Turn our events, projects, press releases and interviews into high-volume content
- Build a repeatable system for content production
- Grow audience and engagement organically
Core Responsibilities
- Repurpose all special projects and events into short-form content
- Create daily/weekly posting strategy
- Use AI tools for:
- Caption writing
- Content ideas
- Video scripting
- Manage posting across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, Facebook)
- Track trends and optimize content performance
- Engage with audience (comments, DMs)
Deliverables (End of Internship)
- 30-day content calendar (platform-specific)
- 50–100 short-form video clips (repurposed + original)
- Caption & hashtag library (AI-assisted)
- Content batching system (how to create several weeks worth of content in 1 day)
- Social media growth report (before vs after metrics)
- AI workflow for content ideation, scripting and editing
KPIs
- Follower growth
- Engagement rate (likes, shares, comments)
- Video views (especially 30 - 60-sec clips)
- Traffic to all social links
Weekly Expectations (All Interns)
- 10–15 hours minimum productivity tracking
- Weekly deliverable submission
- 1 weekly strategy call with you
- 1 weekly performance report
Midpoint Check
- Review results
- Adjust strategy
- Double down on what’s working
Final Week
- Present systems, not just work
- Turn everything into reusable processes
