Summer 2026: MVP Therapy & Sports Medicine - Sports/Healthcare Marketing Intern
Unpaid Summer Internship – Sports & Healthcare Marketing (10 hrs/week)
📍 Midlothian | Hybrid (Partially Remote)
Are you a driven student in Mass Communications with an interest in sports, healthcare, or performance marketing? MVP Therapy & Sports Medicine is a private outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice with two clinics (Midlothian, West End). We are looking for a sharp, creative intern to bring modern marketing insight to our growing company.
Our clinical team is strong—but our marketing needs a reset. We’re looking for someone who understands current trends, digital behavior, and content strategy, and can help evolve how we communicate with patients, athletes, and our community.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate our current marketing strategy and identify gaps
- Help develop a forward-looking marketing plan (next 3–5 years)
- Refresh and modernize our social media presence (content, tone, platforms)
- Introduce current best practices in digital marketing and audience engagement
- Collaborate with and train our internal marketing team on updated strategies
What We’re Looking For
- Current college student (Mass Communications, Marketing, or related field)
- Strong interest in healthcare, fitness, or sports performance
- Familiarity with current social media trends and content styles
- Strategic thinker who can also execute tactically
- Confident communicator—able to present ideas and guide a team
Internship Details
- Duration: 6–8 weeks (Summer)
- Time Commitment: ~10 hours/week
- Schedule: Flexible days/hours
- Format: Hybrid (in-person + remote)
- Compensation: Unpaid (high-impact experience, portfolio-building opportunity, direct influence on real business strategy)
Why This Internship Stands Out
This is not a “shadow and observe” role. You’ll have a seat at the table, real responsibility, and the opportunity to leave a lasting mark on how a healthcare business markets itself moving forward.
If you want hands-on experience where your ideas actually matter—and you’re ready to challenge outdated thinking—we want to hear from you.
