Memories Videography is a full-service, consumer-oriented video production house. Started in 1987, it has catered to the consumer since that time. In house, we currently office analog transfers (old tape formats to digital) as well as recording special events.

 

Most of our clients are long term clients ranging from 19 to 32 years in working together. The biggest project we have on an annual bases is recording college and high school graduations locally and in Northern VA. We provide services to Hampden-Sydney, SVCC and Longwood.

 

Memories Videography started working with Fairfax and Loudoun counties in 2008. That year we recorded 24 high schools. The project has grown, and we now service Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Alexandria City, Arlington County schools, as well as Manassas city schools. This year we will record and stream 64 schools in a three-and-a-half-week time frame.

 

This is where we need extra camera operators. The schedule is almost complete but we are always looking. In addition to the college and high school graduations, we also record 3 dance studios in May.

 

Our goal is to work with students in the video field of study and give them real world experience. The recitals and some of the graduations are recorded and edited in post. Most graduations use a 3 camera live switch with IMAG and open captions displayed on a video wall in the venue.
