Biggie’s Bakes is a Richmond-based startup pioneering a completely new category of dog treats. Our signature Break-And-Bakes are frozen, pre-portioned, human-grade, bake-at-home dog biscuits. Crafted exclusively with whole-food ingredients and zero artificial preservatives, Biggie's Bakes gives humans the nostalgic joy of pulling warm, fresh-baked treats right from the oven for their furry BFF.

Where You’ll Contribute

• Brand Voice. Manage and consistently post to the Biggie's Bakes social media accounts.
• Content Creation. Utilize a highly creative mind to brainstorm, shoot, and edit engaging videos (Reels/TikToks) and static posts that resonate with dog lovers.
• On-the-Ground Marketing. Attend local events and brand activations around Richmond to capture dynamic photo and video content.
• Digital Presence. Update and maintain the company's WordPress website.
• Skill Application. Complete primarily communications-related duties, applying your classroom concepts within a fast-paced, hands-on startup setting.

The Details

• Time Commitment. This position is designed as a 150-hour engagement (fulfilling VCU's requirement for a 3-credit course) to ensure you get deep, meaningful experience with our brand and market. However, we are open to 50- and 100-hour structures for the right candidate.
• Mentorship. You will receive consistent, valuable feedback from the founder in a positive, entrepreneurial learning environment.
• Flexibility. Hours are flexible and will be a mix of remote work and on-site event attendance.
• Availability. This internship is offered year-round.
