Marketing & Communications Internship 

Spring/Summer 2026

Time Commitment: 10–20 hours/week, with academic credit available (depending on program)

About the Internship 

The Digital Strategic Engagement Internship is a hands-on experience in creative communications,  digital media, and marketing strategy. You’ll choose a focus area that matches your interests, take  ownership of 1–2 major projects from start to finish, and walk away with tangible portfolio pieces and  real-world experience. 

Focus Areas 

  • Enrollment Marketing – Campaign development for prospective students and learners • Email Marketing – Message design, segmentation, and storytelling 
  • Graphic Design – Branding, campaign assets, and visual storytelling 
  • Social Media & Digital Advertising – Creative content and engagement strategy • Video / Podcast / Streaming Media – Production support and storytelling innovation • Media Relations & PR – Press, public relations, and institutional storytelling • Copywriting & SEO Writing – Digital storytelling for UPSem’s new website and campaigns

Who You Are 

  • A creative communicator with a passion for design, storytelling, or digital media • A self-starter eager to learn, experiment, and lead 
  • A student majoring in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, PR, Graphic Design, or a  related field
