Spring 2026: Richmond Lacrosse - Athletics Video Content Creator
Position: Athletics Video Content Creator - Richmond Lacrosse
Summary: We are looking for an individual to produce creative, trend-driven TikTok and Instagram Reel content to showcase the University of Richmond Women’s Lacrosse program and its student-athletes. The Videographer will have opportunities to engage with all athletes, coaches, managers, and support staff to capture our program's mission and day-to-day life.
Responsibilities:

Holds themselves accountable for, and shows strong work ethic in, accomplishing goals and exceeding expectations

Coordinate and communicate frequently with Coaches and the Team SID on timing and publishing of projects

Post 2+ reels weekly, including content from team practice, lift, and games
-
Assist in live event coverage of home competitions including capturing behind-the-scenes content for Instagram stories and creatively branding the content with specialized platforms

Ownership and organization in consistently ingesting raw footage and finished projects

Keep current with NCAA Lacrosse programming, storylines, and general trends
Requirements:

Ability to shoot and edit engaging short-form video content using tools such as CapCut, Slate, or similar apps

Must provide own recording device and transportation to UofR (Team can provide a drone for film capture)

Travel to day-trip competitions to create away game content (schedule can be discussed)

Passion for and knowledge of sports
Time Commitment:

150 Hours / 3 Credits, built within the following schedule:
-
3 days a week minimum of practice @ University of Richmond (Choice of M-TR 1:45-3:45, F 2:45-4:45, Saturday mid mornings)

1 day a week of lift @ University of Richmond (M/W/F 4-5PM)

Attend all home games @ University of Richmond [9] (schedule)

Attend day-trip away contest (meals & travel provided) [3]
