Description of Organization:
Golden Word is a Richmond-based PR and social media agency specializing in food & beverage, hospitality, real estate, and lifestyle brands. We develop strategic earned media and social campaigns that elevate brand visibility regionally and nationally.

Intern Responsibilities:

• Build and update media lists
• Research journalists and influencers
• Draft pitch emails and press materials
• Assist with award submissions
• Monitor and report media coverage
• Support social media scheduling and analytics
• Assist with event coordination, if/when applicable
• Provide general office and administrative support

Intern Qualifications:

• Junior or Senior preferred
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Interest in public relations and media relations
• Familiarity with Instagram and LinkedIn
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple assignments

When Offered:
Spring and/or Summer 2026

Compensation:
Paid (hourly rate TBD). Internship will also be completed for academic credit per Robertson School requirements.
