Business Marketing Program Internship 2025-2026 

What is the VACC? 

The Virginia Asian Chamber of Commerce (VACC) is the official “Voice of Asian  American Pacific Islander Businesses”. Our organization maintains Pan Asian  membership from private businesses, nonprofits, local governments, state, and  federal authority agencies, higher education, and Fortune global companies, 

Intern Job Responsibilities: 

1. Create and coordinate marketing digital content (graphic designs, websites  maintenance 
2. Draft professional communications (Newsletters) 
3. Support in event planning and execution processes for major community social-business events. 
4. Create and develop social media and other sustainable marketing 

Internship Positions, Schedule, & Pay Incentives: 

1. Internship Duration: One (1) traditional academic semester 
2. # of Positions year-round: 3-4 positions.  
3. Weekly Hours during academic year: Vary -Minimum of 6 hours weekly 4. Virtual & On-Site schedule at events (as needed) 
4. Qualified apprentice interns receive monetary award and other once of a life  time career boosting incentives at end of year stately Student Award Gala  (3-5 awarded annually).

Required Qualifications: 

1. Basic minimum experience in marketing and research/analysis 2. Maintain professionalism and network with industry stakeholders 3. Excellent writing skills and communication skills 
2. Efficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, & Excel) 5. Interest in advancing underserved populations, communities, and small  businesses. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

1. Prior professional work or internship/volunteer experience in an office  environment 
2. Experience with social business marketing platforms management (Ex:  Eventbrite-Mailchimp) 
3. Graphic design skills and experience are always a plus
