About Internship: The VCU College of Health Professions is seeking a marketing and communications intern for the spring 2025 semester. Reporting to the assistant director of marketing, the student will help support the strategic goals of the college and advance its reputation externally. The internship is paid.

Internship Responsibilities:
- Digital Content Development: Collaborate with the assistant director of marketing to brainstorm, write, and edit content for digital platforms, including social media posts, Meta and Instagram ads, and Google Ads.
- Social Media Management: Using Buffer, help plan and schedule social media posts, monitor account activity, and engage with followers by responding to comments and messages.
- Graphic Design & Visuals: Create graphics, flyers, and other visuals for social media, website, campus screens, and recruitment events, ensuring consistency with the university branding.
- Photography and Video Assistance: Capture photos and short videos during college events and daily campus activities for social media and to build a library of content for future marketing efforts.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the marketing and communications team, including coordinating meetings, organizing files, and maintaining content calendars.
