Event Coordinator Internship Description: 

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for event planning and management? We are offering an exciting internship opportunity for an aspiring Event Coordinator (EC) to join our team. As an EC intern, you will work closely with our experienced Event Coordinator, Will, to learn the ins and outs of event protocols, develop client relationships, and gain hands-on experience in running successful events for theMSQshop. 

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with Will to understand the booking and event protocols, gaining insights into the process of securing venues and managing logistics. 
• Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients, ensuring excellent client service and fostering long-term partnerships. 
• Manage the website and email blast activities, coordinating with the PR Intern for effective event promotion and communication. 
• Learn how to plan and execute events from start to finish, including event promotion, marketing strategies, and creating strategic relationships with brands, creatives, and influencers.
• Assist in building a vendor and sponsor list for theMSQshop's production and events, ensuring a diverse range of offerings and sponsorship opportunities. 
• Gain hands-on experience in managing internal productions, venues, and event contact lists, understanding the importance of effective communication and coordination. 
• Prepare the event team for each event, ensuring they have the necessary information about the location, schedule, organizers' plans, expected number of attendees, media-related events, and time commitments. 
• Collaborate with the PR Intern and Media Intern to ensure media coverage and promotional materials are prepared and coordinated effectively. 

Requirements: 

• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients, vendors, and team members. 
• Attention to detail to ensure all event logistics are meticulously planned and executed.
• Creativity and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative event marketing strategies.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, adapting to the dynamic nature of event planning. 
• Familiarity with event management tools and platforms is a plus.
