Richmond SPCA Internship Responsibilities 

The Social Media Intern will be assisting the Digital Media Specialist in: 

TikTok Content Creation and Analytics 

• Create TikToks that reflect the latest trends and apply them to our humane center
• Create TikToks that feature some of our long term pets 
• Keep track of TikTok metrics on a monthly basis 

Photography 

• Take photos of pets to use on our socials (phone camera is fine!) 
• Take photos of pets to use on our website for every pet’s personal bio 

Collaboration 

• Collaborate with Digital Media Specialist on videos, photos, and other projects 

Exciting Opportunities 

• The person in this role will get to join the Director of Communications to the news when time permits and will be able to capture content for our socials 
• The person in this role may get to meet and network with local influencers, VCU basketball players, and more 
• The person in this role may get the chance to assist with upcoming event promotion
