About Our Team (Intern will report directly to the President-Elect.) 

Jacqui De Pas Schlosser, President: Jacqui is owner of The Yellow House, By Jacqui Photography, and Rebelle. With over 20 years experience in photography, Jacqui DePas lives her personal philosophy – ‘Capture moments, while making memories.” 

Heidi Maestri, President-Elect: Heidi is Owner of Events by Heidi and Chief Operations Officer at OnPoint Financial Management. She lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband, son & golden retriever. 

Job Description 

  • Develop an Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn social strategy to increase brand awareness for the non-profit, increase engagement with Richmond women small business owners, and foster organic lead generation for event participation. 
  • Create all graphics & verbiage for upcoming events that the chapter is hosting with our membership. List of current events can be found here.
  • Engage daily with Instagram followers & other creators to maintain a consistent presence on social media. 
  • Identify prospective new members in the Richmond area to potentially collaborate with. 
  • Monitor growth of Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn accounts and suggest adjustments, should any be needed, to better optimize posts. Be self-motivated and sufficient in creating your own schedule and timeline for content creation.

  • Represent NAWBO Richmond Chapter on & off social media as if the non-profit were their own. 
  • Maintain professionalism when working with members & prospective members 
  • Create consistent communication with the board at all times - speak up if there is something you want to see changed and know you’re always in a safe environment to do so. 
  • If you have questions, ask. There are no stupid or insignificant questions.
