Spring 2025: Naborforce - Written Content Development Intern
Description of Organization:
Naborforce is changing the game in the aging space. With over 10,000 people turning 65 every day (okay boomer!) Naborforce offers a way for seniors to age in place by connecting them with trustworthy people in their own community. We’re born and raised right here in Richmond, VA and have grown to over 20 locations throughout the country. Join us to be a part of an existing movement in technology!
General job duties of a Written Content Development Intern:
- Create blog posts, written snippets, digital brochures, and more for our target audience by scouring current events, news websites, forums, and more.
- Ensure blogs are written in an SEO-friendly manner and are published on a weekly cadence.
- Develop press releases, op-eds and internal research insights to share with local newspapers.
- Monitor trends weekly and iterate on blog production based on performance
Qualifications:
- Strong writing and online research skills. Knowledge of journalism and PR are helpful.
- Ability to access Google docs from a personal computer.
- Understanding of writing-enhancement systems such as Chatgpt or Grammarly to produce high quality, original work on a deadline.
- Willingness to own end-to-end process from idea generation to implementation
- Strong interpersonal and professional skills to collaborate with other Naborforce team members
Internship Training:
- Option to work from home or in-office. Hours are flexible as long as deadlines are met
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing using data-driven metrics to constantly iterate on performance. Together, we’ll look at ways to amass eyeballs on our content.
- Weekly presentations with Naborforce’s CEO.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment with lots of room for career development and growth.
