About the Opportunity
Are you an entrepreneurial thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation? We’re looking for creative, self-driven individuals to join our Content Creator & Strategist Team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to build a professional portfolio while contributing to a fast-growing program that’s changing how communities connect.
As a Content Creator & Strategist Intern, you’ll have the freedom to bring your ideas to life while collaborating with a dynamic team focused on impact and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Production: Create and edit compelling video content for partner highlights, marketing campaigns, and the RVA Unfiltered series.
- Social Media Strategy: Plan, schedule, and manage posts across platforms, ensuring alignment with the MAMS Concierge brand.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Journalism Intern to ensure visual and written storytelling are cohesive.
- Creative Campaigns: Develop innovative marketing campaigns to promote MAMS Concierge and its partners.
- Analytics: Track engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-starter mindset with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) and social media tools.
- Creative Expertise: Strong visual storytelling and design abilities.
- Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, including trends and analytics.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team and align with overall brand goals.
- Bonus Experience (Preferred but Not Required): Photography or graphic design experience.

- Minimum 13 hours per week. Flexibility to contribute additional hours for maximum impact and experience.

About the Opportunity
Are you a people person with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for community building? We’re looking for energetic and proactive individuals to join our Community Engagement Team. This internship offers the chance to connect with local businesses, foster relationships, and play a key role in expanding the MAMS Concierge network.
As a Community Engagement Specialist Intern, you’ll be on the frontlines of building meaningful partnerships and creating opportunities that benefit businesses and the Richmond community.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Outreach: Identify and engage local businesses to onboard them as partners in the MAMS Concierge network.
- Relationship Building: Maintain strong connections with current partners, ensuring their needs are met and feedback is addressed.
- Content Coordination: Collaborate with the Content Creator team to gather and showcase partner stories in the Partner Directory and marketing materials.
- Event Participation: Plan and participate in community events to increase MAMS Concierge’s visibility and reputation.
- Partner Success: Track partner engagement and success metrics, sharing insights with the team to refine outreach strategies.
