Media Production Internship 

Description of Organization: 

Haywire Media Group is a full service video production company in central Virginia. We focus on documentary storytelling, corporate storytelling, and podcasting. Our team has done work  for clients such as PBS, Smithsonian Channel, Netflix, SyFy Network, Capitol One, Chick-fil-A  and others. We are filmmakers who specialize in crafting compelling stories that make an  impact. 

General Job Duties of a Media Production Intern: 

• Camera operation in-studio and on location 
• Post-production (video editing, sound design, color grading) 
• Social media content management 
• Future and current project research 

Media Production Intern must have: 

• A basic knowledge of camera operation 
• A basic to intermediate knowledge of post-production (Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve)
• Reliable transportation 
• Ability to arrive on time and work with a positive attitude 
• Ability to work on a team and alone 
• Solid writing skills 
• An understanding of major social media networks (Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, LinkedIn)
• Ability to meet deadlines 

This internship is offered year-round. Hours are flexible. This internship offers a stipend.
