About the Podcast:
Haskalah is a monthly podcast that explores Jewish history and Jewish ideas through in-depth discussions with scholars and thought leaders. The podcast engages with critical Jewish scholarship and traditional sources to address key questions about Jewish life, past and present.

Position: Podcast Editing Intern
Location: Remote
Time Commitment: Part-time, approximately 5–10 hours per month
Compensation: Potential for compensation

Job Duties:

• Edit monthly podcast episodes for clarity and smoothness, removing coughs, long pauses, and background noise.
• Incorporate intro and concluding music into each episode.
• Edit a separately recorded introduction into the episode.
• Collaborate with the host for potential rounds of feedback and revisions.
• Deliver finalized audio files for upload.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, GarageBand, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain audio quality.
• Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively.
• Interest in Jewish studies, history, or podcast production is a plus.
