Position Title: Social Media Manager 

Position Type: Internship (Part-Time) 

 

Job Summary: 

As a Social Media Manager Intern, you will work closely with our marketing team to create and execute social media strategies that engage our audience and elevate our brand. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Content Creation- Develop, curate, and schedule engaging content for our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.). 

Strategy Development- Assist in creating and implementing social media strategies to achieve marketing targets. 

Community Management- Monitor and engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.

Analytics- Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and strategies, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. 

Trend Analysis- Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant. 

Collaboration- Work with the marketing team to align social media content with broader marketing campaigns and goals. 

Brand Consistency- Ensure all social media content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice and tone. 

Campaign Support Assist- in the planning and execution of social media campaigns and promotions. 

 

Qualifications

Education- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

Social Media Proficiency- Familiarity with major social media platforms and their features.

Creativity- Strong creative skills with a keen eye for design and content creation.

Communication- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Analytical Skills- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights. 

Time Management- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. 

Software Skills- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and basic graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark). 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

- Previous experience in social media management or a related role is advantageous.

- Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics is a plus. 

- Experience with video content creation and editing is beneficial.
