Overview:
Are you a creative, social media/YouTube creator/genius? Are you a sports nut?
Based just outside Richmond, ABC Collectiblez, the world's largest private sports cards collection (over 20 million cards and just featured in The NY Times!), is looking for a star to manage its social media. This is a great ground-floor opportunity for any marketing, communications, or media studies student to make their mark and be involved in an exciting new sports media brand! We have exciting news coming up, too(we promise).
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, shoot, and edit content for ABC Collectiblez's social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) in a creative and homespun style.
- Manage the company’s social media accounts, ensuring posts align with brand voice and receive approval before publishing.
- Develop and execute a content calendar aimed at growing our audience and engagement.
- Utilize SEO and social media best practices to maximize reach and visibility.
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize future content strategies.
- Collaborate remotely with the founder based in Los Angeles and manage occasional on-site visits to the collection near Richmond, VA.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
- Experience in content creation, video shooting, and editing.
- Knowledge of SEO and social media strategies for audience growth.
- Passion for social media, sports, and collectibles; familiarity with the collectibles industry is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while adhering to project timelines.
- A creative, self-starter attitude with a strong sense of ownership over tasks.
