Spring 2025: 2 End The Stigma - Social Media Intern (Stipend Offered)
2 End The Stigma is seeking a social media intern to help with publicity and community outreach for 1) our signature event fundraisers, and 2) general communications and awareness campaigns.
2 End The Stigma’s mission is to alleviate barriers to receiving help for addiction. In February 2017, founder Jill Zebrowski Cichowicz’s twin brother died from Fentanyl poisoning. As a way to honor his memory and to manage her grief, Jill founded nonprofit 2 End The Stigma and works tirelessly to educate families and the general public about addiction recovery and connect individuals and families to resources and community programming.
This internship is offered in exchange for approximately 2 class credits (100 hours) and will also include a stipend at the end of the term which will be based on the student’s work. The majority of the work will be remote with some event attendance required. The work will be focused on preparing and disseminating media releases, writing and posting Facebook updates (including sponsored posts), newsletters, and website content.
Successful applicants will be strong writers with the ability to craft compelling and appropriate stories and content as well as an eye for appropriate accompanying photography. The work will either be managed by Jill Cichowicz or one of her volunteer team members.
