Description of Organization: Jacqueline Aimee Portraits is a small, woman-owned photography business in Richmond, Virginia. Jacqueline works with high-end clients to create luxury portraits of growing families. Jacqueline specialized in traditional film and portrait photography.
General job duties of digital marketing internship:
- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create compelling content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok.
- Conduct keyword research and utilize SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines.
- Monitor social media channels for trends and insights through social listening tools.
- Manage and schedule posts using applications such as Meta Business, Planoly and Plann.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design graphics using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for social media campaigns.
- Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and digital marketing initiatives.
- Develop a monthly email newsletter in Flodesk
- Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Support e-commerce initiatives by creating promotional materials for products or services.
Qualifications applicants should possess:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Familiarity with SEO principles, keyword research, and digital marketing strategies.
- Proficient in Canva, or Adobe Photoshop, and other graphic design tools within the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with social media management tools such as Meta Business, Planoly or Plann.
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics for tracking website performance is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail in proofreading.
- Ability to create engaging visual content through photography or video editing skills is an advantage.
- Ability to work and design in Flodesk.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for branding, relationship management, and understanding of e-commerce dynamics.
