The popular healthy recipe blog and social media brand, Eating Bird Food, is looking for a hard-working and talented intern to join our team in Richmond, VA. Our ideal candidate has a strong knowledge and interest in social media and video content creation. Being interested and excited about healthy eating and cooking would be a great bonus. 

Qualifications: 

• Strong passion and grasp of social media including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
• Video creation and video editing experience (using your phone)
• Excellent communication skills 
• Accurate, thorough, organized and detailed originated
• Savvy with technology
• Passionate about Eating Bird Food’s mission

Responsibilities:

• Work with Social Media Manager to craft and execute compelling videos for TikTok, Instagram and other social media platforms which may involve filming, prepping and cooking recipes
• Assist Social Media Manager with editing videos for TikTok, Instagram and other social media platforms
• Assist Social Media Manager with writing captions, scheduling content and engagement on social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest
• Engage and interact with Eating Bird Food’s audience on social media
• Keep up to date on social media trends as well as food trends and bring content ideas to Social Media Manager
• Any additional projects that may arise

This is a flexible, part-time position. Some work can be done remotely, however Owner may need assistance in the office/kitchen cooking and filming content. You will need to provide your own transportation. Weekly hours will vary based on workload.
