VCU Media and Culture Program
The VCU Media and Culture Program is an individually designed summer program for students from international universities, jointly run by the VCU Global Education Office and the VCU Richard T. Robertson School of Media and Culture. In the program, students receive an immersive media and cultural experience through courses offered by Robertson School faculty, as well as English language instruction from the CEA-accredited English Language Program.
The curriculum is reinforced through academic and cultural field trips and site visits (such as those to regional media outlets) and participation in GEO initiatives (such as Globe Café). The program brings together the best of the VCU and greater Richmond communities, allowing a true immersion experience for the students.
Offered in the summer semester, the program is open to new partnerships, collaborations and students.
