Alum Success Story: Saher Randhawa
The Robertson School professors are knowledgeable and talented, and you will learn a lot from them. Not only do they provide you real world experiences and opportunities, but they also have designed a program that works well as a working professional and will help you grow in your career.
What influenced your decision to attend the Robertson School's M.S. in Mass Communications program?
I graduated from the Robertson School with my bachelor's degree and really loved the program and professors, so it felt right and natural to go back and get my masters too. I was excited to attend my alma mater again and get an advanced degree that would only help my succeed as a communications professional.
What about the program did you find most useful in your current career?
I really enjoyed the real world experiences from our professors and also our guest speakers throughout the program. Their advice and discussions on current topics helped with navigating current issues in communications within my workplace.
What are you most proud of from your graduate school experience?
I am really proud of completing the program in one full year. The asynchronous program made it easy as a full-time professional to do both, and our professors were always helpful and understanding. I am also proud of the work that we produced for real clients, such as our capstone work revamping a nonprofit's communications efforts to help them succeed.
