Pamela Williams is the Richard T. Robertson School of Media and Culture’s Executive Assistant to the Director, providing support for the School’s administration and faculty. She’s been with the School since 2007.
She’s responsible for a wide range of duties, including preparing departmental reports; interviewing and supervising student workers; and general oversight of the front office. Faculty also considers her a vital link to the School’s administration.
Williams worked for the School in the mid-1990s. Between then and now she worked in the legal department of Wachovia Securities (now Wells Fargo), the antitrust department of Hunton & Williams, the litigation department of Williams Mullen and in the licensing department for the Virginia State Corporation Commission.
She’s married with two daughters, one son-in-law and two grandchildren, William and London, who she’s not shy about saying are “the joy of her life.” Williams enjoys serving in various aspects of music ministry at her church and is committed to helping others.
