Background

Dr. Hill joined the Robertson School during the fall semester of 2018, teaching writing, multimedia, and history courses in the undergraduate program. She also chartered the National Association of Black Journalists at VCU student chapter in 2021. Outside of her work as an educator, Dr. Hill continues her professional work as a freelance multimedia specialist. Prior to joining the Robertson School, she worked as an Assistant Professor of Mass Communications at Virginia Union University from 2013 until 2018. Dr. Hill is driven by a deep passion for her field and a strong desire to make a meaningful impact on the next generation of journalists and media professionals.
