This role is ideal for a college student (junior, senior, or graduate-level) studying communications, marketing, media, or a related field who is excited about content creation, storytelling, and growing brand impact and scale.

You’ll work directly with our CEO and operations team to produce and repurpose engaging content across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Company Newsletter), support the launch of our upcoming book, and research / pitch media feature opportunities (like speaking engagements and podcast guest spots) to amplify our Founder’s thought leadership efforts and upcoming book launch.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Creation & Repurposing
  • Edit short-form video clips and quote graphics from existing media (e.g., webinars, keynote talks, Instagram Lives, past email newsletters)
  • Script and plan long-form and short-form content for Instagram Reels, carousels, and LinkedIn posts
  • Draft captions and suggest ideas for weekly social media posts that align with our brand themes
  • Maintain an organized library of brand assets in Canva and Google Drive / Airtable
  • Leverage existing brand voice for social media presence that resonates through short-form social copy, as well as longer-form (blogs) and highly visual assets, such as GIFs, memes, and videos.
  1. Podcast & Video Series Production Support
  • Assist with planning, script outlines, and production logistics for new podcast launch
  • Edit short promotional videos (≤90 sec) and upload final files to platforms like YouTube and social media
  • Help coordinate recording and editing/production schedule for project plan and launch
  1. Media Research & Outreach Support
  • Research podcast shows, digital publications, and event opportunities that align with our brand (topics: mid-career, leadership, HR/Talent, workforce trends, workforce development, etc)
  • Track and organize pitching opportunities in Airtable or Google Sheets
  • Draft outreach messages or speaker bios/templates for media features

Ideal Candidate Profile

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • A strong communicator and writer with a clear, concise style
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a proactive mindset, a self-starter
  • Interested in social impact, leadership development work and the future of work
  • Comfortable using or learning tools like Canva, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Drive, Zoom, and editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Captions or iMovie)

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of social media and/or agency experience with portfolio or equivalent experience to share (internships count!)
  • Experience creating graphics with Canva* (other design product suite experience a plus, but not required) and creating content for social media platforms for engagement and conversion
  • Interest in hands-on creative marketing & brand reach experience in a professional internship environment
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Eye for visual and engaging storytelling, interest in research, media campaigns and online community engagement.
  • Interest in applied marketing strategy / theory, with an emphasis on e-commerce, brand reach, and audience engagement.
  • Works well in a startup environment with clear deliverables, and adept in pivoting between autonomous work and collaborative projects.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate openly with a remote team

What You’ll Gain

  • Portfolio-ready content across multiple media formats
  • Real-world experience supporting a brand through a book and podcast launch strategy period
  • Mentorship from an experienced entrepreneur and leadership coach
  • Optional final project and performance review to support future internships or job search
