Summer 2021: AllyAlign Health (AAH) - Digital Marketing Specialist Intern (PAID)

AllyAlign Health (AAH) began reforming the health system in 2014 by enabling leading long-term care (LTC) providers to launch provider-sponsored managed care plans for vulnerable senior populations. Today we manage Medicare Advantage (MA) institutional special needs plans (I-SNPs), chronic care special needs plans (C-SNPs) for dementia, and dual-eligible special needs plans (D-SNPs) to reduce healthcare costs and improve patient quality of life. The wholly owned AAH plans in Michigan, Virginia, Florida and California (pending) are branded as Align Senior Care (ASC).


Time Commitment: about 15 hours/week and our working hours are 8:30-5, but we are willing to accommodate your schedule

Location: Remote + occasional travel to our Glen Allen office

Who’s a good fit for this role?: Someone who’s studying within the advertising program and either has previous experience or personal interest in social media management + bonus if they have any background in healthcare or health insurance

Compensation: $12/hour


  • Create brand awareness for AAH and Plans (as appliable)
  • Establish AAH as an expert in our industry
  • Post timely content related to AAH in the news, announcing products (i.e., GRACIE), and sharing partner/member success
  • Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency
  • Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels
  • Work with brand to create and implement social media strategies monthly
  • Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology
  • Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience
  • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others
  • Oversee the creating and implementation of the monthly editorial calendar which includes monthly sales objectives and initiatives
