Summer 2018: Studio Center (RVA & VA Beach) - Various Positions

Many of our summer internship tracks for 2018 are filled, but there are openings in the following areas if you have students that are looking for a last minute opportunity to join an award winning team! Since we've worked with you on previous internships, we wanted to extend this offer to you and your students first. Please note that all students must be enrolled to receive college credit to be eligible, and must be able to complete the hours for the internship on site at a Studio Center location. Web Designer:  
(Available in both Richmond and Virginia Beach)
As a design intern you should have a good working knowledge of basic design and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications. You will be involved with image research, all types of layout design, website content download and/or transfer and competitor research for client projects. You will have the opportunity to be a part of the design process for any given client projects as well as the production of final art for said projects.
Web Developer:
(Available in both Richmond and Virginia Beach)
Development interns should have working knowledge of front-end and backend technologies and terminologies that go along with them. An intern can focus on primarily on front-end or back-end work, but must know how each work with one another. Knowledge of conversion and optimization of front-end media materials for web delivery is a must. Front-end focused developers must know how to get around Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS. Backend developers need to know how to make use of MySQL/MariaDB, PHP5/6, Apache/NGINX, basics of working with CMS backends, and preferably basic networking including configuring name servers, DNS, basic firewall management. Marketing and Sales:

We are looking to educate and have interested students contribute to the

Sales/Marketing/Advertising efforts for the largest voice-over, new media, film and video production

company in the nation...and hey we're fun! Marketing and Sales interns will be assisting our existing sales team in the Studio Center Richmond location. They will find leads on the internet, help marketing with e-blasts, manage data of incoming leads, and assemble sales reporting. They will also assist in preparing quotes and following up on potential new business.  Interns in this department will get a taste of the day-to-day pace of a sales driven environment.

Casting interns at Studio Center will be working with our casting department, and have front row seat to the process of booking talent and increasing company revenue! During their internship, students will be expected to schedule talent auditions for radio and TV commercials as well as contacting them to arrange schedules auditions and sessions. Interns will also assist coordinators/producers to ensure that the session schedule is adhered to, assist in the process of cast projects, provide scripts to talent, and maintain our database with current and accurate information and talent character voices (interps).  Finally, they will be partnering with casting team to close the loop on any outstanding quotes in the field each day.
