Description of Organization: Fuel Creative, Inc. is a full service film/video Production & Post-Production studio, a woman-owned small business in the Commonwealth of Virginia since March 2003. Operated by principals with over thirty (30) years combined editorial and design experience, Fuel partners with clients to find creative solutions to their communications needs. (

Intern Responsibilities: We are looking for a dynamic student who wants to get their hands dirty in the day-to-day management and operation of a small film/video production studio in RVA over the summer. You will be responsible for working alongside our producers/editors to assist in any and all aspects of production management including, but not limited to: • coordination of crews • production scheduling • production assisting on location • off-line editing • graphics animation • social media management • website management and/or design • overall project management that will include client interaction and time tracking.

Important Note: The majority of Fuel’s projects are corporate and non profit long-form videos where we tell meaningful stories, so if you want to work on projects in advertising, this is not for you.

Fun fact: Our former “intern” from Radford is now traveling the world for Netflix, so sometimes humble beginnings in small shops make all the difference in a career.
