The Greater Richmond Bar Foundation (GRBF) is a Richmond-based nonprofit with a mission to expand access to Justice through the mobilizing, training, and connecting of attorneys to pro bono clients. Through programs like the Eviction Diversion Program, which helps keep people in their homes and landlords whole, the Triage Project, supporting the Legal Aid backlog, our Pro Bono Clearinghouse, providing free legal services to nonprofits, clinics that provide Wills to frontline workers, Veterans, senior citizens, and underserved individuals, and events to raise awareness, GRBF has been making an impact since 1978.

With the help of our Firms In Service, a collaborative effort between sixteen law firms and businesses in Richmond, GRBF works to increase the availability of pro bono legal services. Our vision is to foster a culture of pro bono and raise attorney participation to 100%. Through the JusticeServer case management system we created, a tool connecting legal aid organizations that allow attorneys to volunteer their time and search for opportunities easily, GRBF is leading the way in pro bono efforts. We seek an intern who can help manage our communications efforts and raise awareness of our organization.
