Our fast-growing company is looking to hire two interns (one specifically for social media; one for communications, with a strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including various social media platforms. Gain online experience and develop your portfolio for a future in online marketing and communications with class credit in your business designation. This is a great opportunity to make your mark and there is definitely room to grow within the company!
The interns hired for these positions will need strong critical thinking skills in order to integrate into our vibrant and passionate team, who are very excited to share our vision with interns hoping to gain extensive online experience.
Create and source content for blogs and social media for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and Pinterest.
Monitor social media for trending topics to utilize on social media channels
Perform analysis of marketing and sales data
Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
Perform SEO functions to include keyword analysis
Provide ideas and feedback for business development
Assist in the creation of signage, circulars, mock ups, email campaigns, online promotion, etc.
Undergraduate student in majoring in Communications, Sales, Marketing, or Advertising
Excellent written communication skills
Extensive knowledge of social media
Driven and hard working
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel experience
Practical experience with social media campaigns
Mentoring, and training opportunities with experienced, knowledgeable professionals
Flexible schedule; Weekly hours dependent on total hours needed for internship credit.
