Social Media Coordinator Intern
Job Description
A highly motivated, team player and creative individual with experience and passion for connecting with current and future customers and members. At least three years in a social media curriculum with a GPA of 3.0 or higher at an accredited college. Knowledge and use of best practices. A working knowledge of keyword research and Google Analytics. Possess knowledge and understanding of social media platforms.
Objectives
Set goals and measure growth of social media sites through analytics.
Work strategically with content team: help brainstorm content ideas, coordinate release schedules.
Grow sites by targeting potential members and like-minded groups/personas through engagement of custom groups.
Work with content team and web developer where social content will reside to build SEO.
Promote content of member magazines, Real Virginia television program, News Leads and news releases.
Develop plan with content team to monitor comments and questions and respond in a timely manner. Work to mitigate any online conflicts and work with team to develop solutions.
Time-Frame
Hours and duration are flexible from full-time for four months to part-time (20 hours per week) for eight months.
