The Communications Unit of the Virginia Department of Health Professions (DHP) is interviewing candidates from the VCU Richard T. Candidates will have strong writing skills, an interest in healthcare related communications and a demonstrated appreciation for the dissemination of information to the public and other stakeholder groups, including the news media. Additionally, candidates must have experience with social media and various software including Microsoft Office. Internet access, a telephone and computer are provided.
Two three-paragraph writing samples, a resume and an in-person interview are requested.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of communications staff located in DHP’s Office of the Director at the Perimeter Center Building, Suite 300 at 9960 Mayland Drive, Henrico, approximately 15 miles and a 20 minute car ride from campus.
