Description of the Job |
As a member of the Alumni Office, the Alumni Events Assistant will be responsible for helping with logistical planning of events and programs that are aimed at engaging VCU alumni. The assistant will conduct research, perform administrative tasks and perform other event related tasks as needed. He or she will attend and participate in event related activities and meetings. The assistant will support event logistics for MCV Campus Reunion weekend occurring April 5-7, 2019. The Alumni Event Assistant must possess excellent interpersonal communications skills and be skilled at building relationships. The Assistant must able to handle confidential information and be trusted to consistently arrive at work on time and present a professional image. The position will report to the Director of Alumni Reunion and Recognition Programs. |
