Description: This position combines social media management, audience engagement and marketing. The audience editor will collaborate with the multimedia director, designers and other staffers to strengthen the CT’s online presence by facilitating social media coverage and the creation of digital media for the website, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Through constant content and insight into reader interests, the audience editor will work to increase the organization’s social media following, in addition to working on branding and recruitment. Day-to-day management of the CT social media accounts will be the responsibility of the audience editor. Considering this, the position will entail 1-3 hours of dispersed work per day. Attendance at weekly staff budget meetings, which occur Mondays at 8:30 p.m., is required. 
To be eligible, candidates should have had at least eight articles published with the CT OR experience in social media management, marketing or another similar field. The position is unpaid, as it will be classified as an internship worth three credit hours. Notwithstanding budget constraints, there is potential for transition into a permanent paid staff audience editor position.
