Spring 2018: VA General Assembly - Legislative Intern

Looking for students to intern in the Virginia General Assembly this upcoming legislative session from January 15th - March 10th approximately two days a week in the office of Senator Rosalyn Dance. If anyone has a specific interest in observing women of color in public service, send resume and a brief personal summary to district16@senate.virginia.gov
 
Looking for young people interested in understanding the Virginia legislative process first-hand as a step to formalize their advocacy efforts and deepen their knowledge of the political process. Interns will be tasked with drafting talking points, researching legislation, and executing constituent correspondence. Interns will be expected to commit 10 - 20 hours a week with flexible scheduling.
