Historic Mankin Mansion Wedding Resort is an award-winning wedding venue with a highly reviewed planning team. We are always looking to expand our team with enthusiastic individuals who share our passion for weddings and our standards of excellence. Our unpaid program requires a minimum of 100 hours but is highly flexible and may lead to a part time or full time offer. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answering inquiries
- Following up with leads
- Preparing tour folders
- Confirming vendor arrival times
- Confirming staff arrival times
- Day-of staff support for set up
- Day-of staff support for events
- Filing & organization of the office and tent
- Marketing/social media tasks as assigned
- Assisting the planning team as assigned

LEGACY PROJECT
Legacy Project is an optional assignment implements our interns’
skills and ideas to improve our business! This enables interns to
demonstrate their area(s) of interest and project management skills.
This project includes:
- Shadowing/ Observing
- Identifying needs or areas of improvement
- Creating a project proposal
- Presenting the proposal to the intern director
- Execution/ Implementation of the project
- Analysis/ Evaluation of the project

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Weekend and occasional evening availability
- Event planning and coordination experience preferred
- Degree/ perusing degree in hospitality, marketing, or related
