Organization Description: Big Brothers Big Sisters is a Richmond-based non-profit organization that provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. We serve throughout the Richmond, Hampton Roads, Tri-Cities areas.
Expected Job Duties:
- Social media management
- Create video clips of volunteers and service recipients
- Assist with Board Marketing & Development Committee
- Assist with newsletter and direct mail development
- Assist with promotion and planning of our biggest peer-to-peer fundraiser of the year, Bowl for Kids’ Sake
- Other communication-related duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Organized, professional, independent and willing to take initiative, good sense of judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, creative thinker
- Experience using social media personally and/or professionally, experience with digital movie editing tools, experience or interest in building template-based websites
