Spring 2017: Firehouse Theatre - Marketing Interns

Firehouse Theatre is looking for Marketing Interns who are highly motivated and creative.

Firehouse produces 200+ performing arts events each season in three different series – FIREHOUSE PLAYS, FIREHOUSE FRINGE, and FIREHOUSE STUDIO. Responsibilities: - assist in coordinating and executing guerilla campaigns, direct mail, social media, media relations, public outreach, and testing new marketing strategies - help prepare and distribute promotional materials and press releases - manage and update Firehouse calendar, online listings, and other PR initiatives - assist in creating comprehensive marketing plans - research new and innovative ways to market Firehouse and connect with a diverse audience - other duties customized to each intern's interests

Qualifications: - superior attention to detail, follow-up, and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills - high level of computer literacy with MS Office (and Adobe Suite is a plus) - strong verbal and written communication skills - ability to work both independently and as part of a team - knowledge of theatre, the arts, and/or nonprofit organizations is a plus Internships are offered year round.
