Posted in: Advertising internships, Internships & scholarships, Journalism internships, Public Relations internships

The College Behavioral and Emotional Health Institute’s mission is to promote behavioral and emotional health in college communities through the integration of scientific research with coursework, programming and policy related to behavioral and emotional health.

We believe that education and programming focused on mental and physical well-being is a central part of the collegiate experience in order for universities to achieve their mission of preparing students for engaged professional and personal lives that advance the common good.

COBE is seeking two interns to help create marketing materials including videos, podcasts and flyers and aid in strategy/implementation of advertising campaigns, social media management and other communications projects.

A qualified candidate will have a solid grasp of the Adobe Creative Suite, social media management including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat and skills in public relations, advertising and graphic design. Any prior experience in basic research or mental health and substance use advocacy is preferred.

Interns will work closely with Media Specialist Craig Zirpolo and report to Administrative Director Tom Bannard while completing work remotely throughout the semester.

Students chosen for the internship with COBE can work for 1 credit (50 hours), two credits (100 hours) or three credits (150 hours) depending on their need and availability.
