**POSITION FILLED** Spring 2021: Greater Richmond Bar Foundation - Social Media Intern

The Greater Richmond Bar Foundation (“GRBF”) is a Richmond-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Central Virginia with a mission to expand access to Justice through the mobilizing, training, and connecting of attorneys to pro bono clients. Through programs like the Eviction Diversion Program, aiding city residents, the Triage Project, supporting Legal Aid, our Pro Bono Clearinghouse, providing free legal services to nonprofits, and clinics like Virtual Wills providing life planning documents to state residents, GRBF has been making an impact since 1978. With the help of our Firms In Service, a collaborative effort between sixteen law firms and businesses in Richmond, GRBF works to increase the availability of pro bono legal services. Through the JusticeServer® case management system, a tool that allows attorneys to easily volunteer their time, GRBF is leading the way in pro bono. We are seeking an intern who can help manage our social media and raise awareness of our mission and efforts. 

General job duties of Social Media Intern: 

  • Managing a content calendar 
  • Content strategy and assistance for a monthly e-newsletter (Mailchimp) Scheduling and publishing posts (Facebook/LinkedIn) 
  • Webpage assistance (WordPress) 
  • Assisting the Executive Director and Director of Administration 

Qualifications applicants should possess: 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Passion for sharing stories through social media 
  • Interest in community service work 
  • Graphic design and photography skills desired
