- Kämé Naturals is a local CBD start up specializing in premium, high quality, clean/transparent cannabinoid products. All hemp is either estate grown or locally sourced using beyond organic methods and processed here in RVA. We are all about transparency, all natural/pure ingredients, quality strains and educating our fellow Americans about the medicinal benefits of cannabinoids.
- Cannabinoids (CBD, CBG, CBN) have a number of benefits. Such as:

General Job Duties of the Ad/PR internship:
- Dive into the world of cannabis:
- Strategic Development
- Research
- Competitive analysis
- Consumer segmentation
- Market sizing
- Design and develop the Kämé Naturals e-commerce/DTC website (off shopify e-commerce platform)
- Technical support
- Maintenance
- Consumer relations/support
- Go to market strategy
- Communication plan
- Creative development
- Social media assets, Develop social media plan, Social media posts, POS, sales materials and support, etc.
- Data Analysis:
- Web analytics/dashboard
- Social media reporting, optimizing, etc
- Involved in short term & long term strategy for business
Qualifications applicants should possess:
- VCU Student of Richard T. Robertson School of Media & Culture and/or Business School
- Design, Web and social media experience
- Creative & Strategic Thinker
- Technical knowledge of social media platforms, e-commerce platforms
- Passionate about new experiences, start ups, communication/creative and social media
- Fun & cool person to hang out with (remotely of course ☺ )
Internship experience/benefits:

Details:
- Summer 2020 internship from June – August (flexible)
- 150 hrs = 3 credits
- This is an unpaid internship
- Due to COVID-19 this internship will be remote:
- Limited but not guaranteed face to face interaction
- Equipment and workspace not included
- If software is required, will determine based on the case & cost
