Robertson School of Media and Culture for an eight to ten-hour a week internship to total 100 hours this fall or January through May 2019. There is an option to renew following completion of this engagement. Interns will receive academic credit hours to be arranged through the School. Applicants must secure an academic advisor.

Special Olympics Virginia (SOVA) is a year round sports program for persons with intellectual disabilities. In addition to assisting with our statewide competitions, the intern will work on several high profile fundraisers such as the , Summer Games, Law Enforcement Torch Run, Over the Edge, and other local events. The position is unpaid but the experience is invaluable. We are willing to work with you to make the experience fit your university needs.

Project Yellow Light, Hunter Garner Scholarship is a non-profit built on a simple concept, making a big difference to stop distracted driving. Car crashes are the number one killer of teens and young adults in the U.S. PYL is a program designed to reverse those numbers and save lives. Applicants to the scholarship create 30 or 60 videos, billboard designs or radio spots to convince their peers to be careful when they first start driving. And starting this year, we have a separate contest for billboard design. No essay. Everything online. The contest is open to all full time high school juniors & seniors and college students in the U.S.
