The Commonwealth Times is the award-winning independent student press of Virginia Commonwealth University. The CT publishes a 10-12 page newspaper every Monday and frequently updates the CT website with VCU/Richmond related news. The ideal candidate has journalism writing and marketing experience, knows how to code and operate WordPress, works well with a large team of people and is up-to-date on current events. The present day Henry Clay Inn opened on April 10, 1992. The exterior of the inn is an exact replica of its predecessors (recreated from photographs). The interior houses 13 guest rooms, a Parlor that opens onto the balcony overlooking the Ashland Visitors Center/train station and the campus of RMC, and a drawing room suitable for business and social functions. Ashland is proud to be an artistic and culturally rich community with local artists of all types.
