Fall 2021: Ross Publishing - Graphic Design Intern (PAID)

This position is reserved for a currently enrolled student interested in acquiring real-world graphic design experience in the print and digital publishing industry. We are looking for a talented and knowledgeable designer with an eye for detail, passion to learn, and creative ideas on tap. 



  • Ideate and create materials for print or digital display 
  • Adhere to brand guidelines 
  • Using design software to work with a variety of media to fulfill required specifications
  • Collaborate with team members to develop concepts and work to completion • Image selection and manipulation 
  • Receive feedback from Creative Director and Art Directors to make necessary adjustments
  • Learn filing structure for large projects with multiple moving parts
  • Working in a hybrid work environment consisting of remote and face-to-face time.


  • Graphic Design major preferred 
  • Basic knowledge of visual communication, layouts, typography, color
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator 
  • Creative and analytical skills 
  • Compelling portfolio of graphic design work




  • Experience working with a wide range of industry related projects 
  • Understanding of the necessities of design as it relates to sales, marketing and client interactions
  • Finding genuine solutions by-way-of graphic design 
  • Build confidence through working on real projects with ample opportunities to fine tune skills and ideas
  • Receive guidance and feedback from shadowing a 20+ year graphic designer
  • Flexible schedule for students to meet credit hours 
  • Compensation available
