Are you interested in learning more about a nonprofit organization that serves and supports people throughout Virginia? At enCircle we have been serving children, adults, and families for more than 133 years, and we are still growing! Our programs include private day schools, supports for adults with developmental disabilities, immigration and refugee services, treatment foster care, and mental health counseling.
We are looking for an intern for the fall semester to help our External Relations team, which is responsible for communications, marketing, fundraising, and advocacy. We need an organized, motivated student who is a strong writer for 10-20 hours/week and who wants to gain hands-on experience communicating to a variety of audiences.
Projects may include graphic design, assisting with social media, writing blogs for the enCircle website, organizing marketing materials, and assisting with fundraising projects. We are eager for you to start as soon as possible and commit to the fall semester. We are open to considering a full academic year internship if it’s a good fit.
We offer a stipend of $500/semester. Your work will primarily be done virtually, but we will meet in person at times.
Please include a cover letter with your resume, indicating why you are interested in the External Relations internship opportunity and what you would bring to our team.
Applicants can email their cover letter and resume to Margaret Holland at mholland@enCircleAll.org
Work authorization: U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, F-1, J-1, or H-1 Visa (International Student)
