Fall 2021: Elizabeth Cabell Fine Art - Marketing / Branding Intern

Elizabeth Cabell is a visual fine artist with a studio in Montpelier, Virginia and a growing presence in the fine art world.  Holding Fine Arts degrees from both James Madison University and Virginia Commonwealth University, School of the Arts, Elizabeth is classically trained in the Fine Arts and well-travelled in Italy and Europe.  Her work is currently exhibiting in several national galleries and exhibitions and she is actively taking and working on commissions.  Though her interior design work of 25 years with Cabell Design Studio has won numerous national awards and has been featured in national press, her passion is painting. 

General Duties of Marketing / Branding Intern:


To assist with the building of a more recognizable brand 

To boost and improve social media presence 

To research national exhibits/shows and prepare applications to those exhibits/shows

To research and contact local/regional, and possibly national, galleries for potential show opportunities

To manage contacts lists 

To manage Social Media postings

To assist with Virtual Gallery management

Applicants must possess the following Qualifications:


Extensive social media savvy with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Linked In

Ability to work alone

Ability to manage and meet deadlines

Ability to work within Microsoft Office bundle on Mac: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Highly Organized and Generally Confident

Motivated to generate sales with increased marketing 

Applicant must be Polite, Discerning and Professional – fine art is a high-end commodity

Internship Training:


After the initial meeting, this internship will be 90% virtual.  Start and end dates can be flexible, but start date will be after September 6, 2021. Anticipate weekly hours between 3-5 with remote /virtual check at beginning of each week to review previous week’s accomplishments and discuss the coming week’s goals.
