About this Job

We are currently seeking a Fall Intern to create and execute a local Marketing and Public Relations plan by focusing on Richmond based events and retailers in an effort to grow market presence and awareness of Cloth & Paper in the area.
To date, Cloth & Paper has grown almost entirely through online/ social media marketing with a focus on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and E-mail along with Paid ads. Locally, our focus has been minimal with only selling at the Brunch Market at Lunch and Supper, as well as, in the Quirk Gallery at the Quirk Hotel. We are looking to change this by placing more attention on small retailers around the city, as well as, pop-ups/ markets, and local print media. Additionally, there should be a focus on PR for our owner and founder Ashley Reynolds in an effort to build her personal brand in the Richmond entrepreneur community.
The perfect candidate for this role will be well organized and results driven, with a love for building relationships with sales in mind. This position will require some local travel visiting shop owners, which will involve face to face meetings. Additionally, this role will look for other marketing activities such as pursuing local print advertising and other creative ways that we can build the brand within the Richmond market.
